Alan really digs gadgets. He has spent much of his career making them work. His current favorite gadget is the iPhone. If you have an idea for an application that you would like to see on the iPhone, let him know. He might be able to make it happen.

Alan enjoys working with open source software, and he helps run the Triangle Linux Users Group. His current favorite Linux distributions are Debian and Ubuntu.

He has two daughters, which continue to amaze him daily. And he is married to a kind and beautiful Malaysian woman, who puts up with way more crap than any one person should.
